Indonesian commodity producing regions are confronted with multiple development and sustainability challenges, such as deforestation, environmental degradation and a high poverty incidence. SECO is planning to substantially assist two to three Indonesian districts on Kalimantan, Sumatra and/or Sulawesi islands to apply a so-called "landscape approach". The aim is to bringing together key stakeholders from public, private and civil society sectors to jointly address the multifaceted challenges in these districts in a holistic way that goes beyond individual value chains.

To select the most convincing implementation arrangements, a call for proposals is now open. Organizations and/or companies of all sectors are invited to submit project proposals. Submission deadline is 21st of August 2022.
